PTA
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the structure through which parents (including guardians, foster parents and those acting in loco parentis) in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children. The PTA works with the Head of School, staff and Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school. All parents of children in the school are members of the Parent Teacher Association. These parents elect annually a committee of 10 members to work on their behalf. The PTA has two main roles within the school.
1. To work in partnership with the Head of School, staff and Board of Management and the whole school community for the betterment of the children in the school. 2. To support and empower parents to be active in the best interests of their children's educational lives.
