The Geography Department draws upon a wide variety of aids, available in the Geography Room during teaching,
including video case studies, models, use of Google Earth, maps, Powerpoints and websites including
      geographical animations.

The courses in each year follows the standard curriculum as set by the Department of Education and especially
so for the new leaving Cert. Syllabus in 5th and 6th Years.

Transition Year geography covers a wide range of topics geared towards providing valuable background
information on the Leaving Cert. Course as well as developing an interest in topical issues linking historical,
political, physical, human and economic geography. There is also a section in where the students use Digital
