BT YOUNG SCIENTIST COMPETITION 2010 - SUTTON PARK SUCCESS
Two second year students won 3rd Prize in the Junior Behavioural Sciences section of the competition. Out of a total of 33 projects in the category, Hazel Rogers and Shireen Datta, produced an amazing University standard project to be in the prize winning category.
‘An investigation of the word recognition abilities of the human brain' Won 3rd Prize in the Junior Behavioural Sciences. The girls did an investigation into the factors influencing the ability of the brain to recognise words by their length and with only the first and last letters in place.
